Thick and Thin Yarn - Naturally Dyed Forest Green

This slubby wool yarn has been hand spun and plant dyed for us in Chile using local dye plant, romerillo with a clay mordant.

100% sheep's wool (typically Suffolk/Romney Marsh).

Hand wash, warm water, mild soap.

As a guide: 20g = 8-10m (approx)

PLEASE NOTE: this is a rustic, hand spun yarn, so please expect variations in thickness and texture. You may also find small pieces of plant material tangled in the fibres. I believe that this enhances the natural beauty of this hand produced item.
